How to obtain a quotation:

Simply complete our online installation form and we will email you back within 48 hours with an approximate installation quotation based upon the information you have provided us. At this point, we recommend that a member of the SecurityMAX team discuss your requirements in greater detail over the phone. We can even send an engineer to your address free of charge* in order to conduct a detailed site survey, which will result in an accurate and comprehensive job quotation and final price.

Throughout the quotation process, the SecurityMAX team will strive to ensure that the following points are discussed with you in order to increase your awareness:

  • The factors which prompted you to consider the purchase of a CCTV system, and any alternative options you may have
  • The requirements of the Data Protection Act. There are now 62 legal obligations that most CCTV systems have to comply with
  • The Home Office Requirements for CCTV systems. If these requirements are not met the police will be unable to use images from your system as evidence in court. The police have stated that over 75% of images they take from crime scenes do not meet this criterion
  • Different types of equipment available so that you can make an intelligent choice as to what best suits your needs (for example, Digital Video Recorders vs. Analogue VCRs, Static vs. PTZ Cameras, etc.)
  • The limitations of CCTV
  • How to optimise your site installation

Installation will commence within 10 working days after confirmation of order and receipt of payment, and will be at a time and date that suits you.

What is a site survey?

A site survey involves inspection of the physical location where the CCTV system will be installed. Our qualified engineer will determine the length and location of the cable runs, the best positions for each camera, and where control equipment should be located. We will also calculate any additional charges that may be necessary due to unusual site factors that may complicate the installation and increase the cost.

Information for sites that have not been surveyed.

Additional fitting charges will be assessed by the engineer on the day of the installation, and any necessary surcharge due to unusual site factors will have to be paid in advance by the customer before commencement of work. Payment can be made in the form of cash to our engineer or credit card payment over the phone.
